Why did the Angels Sing?

Why did the Angels Sing?

Author: Sally Ann Wright

Price: £4.99 | Add to Basket

Why did the world go wrong? Why was there a hole in the roof? Why did Jesus wash his friends' feet? Why did the angels sing? With beautiful illustrations, this book echoes the wondering questions children ask and introduces some of the best-loved Bible stories.

An excellent baptismal or christening gift, this book is also an ideal companion to When did the Walls Fall Down? What did the Princess Find? and Who Built the Ark?

Sally Ann Wright is a trained teacher and has worked in children's publishing for 25 years. She has written seven books for children, including two children's Bibles, and acted as a consultant for Christian education for a number of publishers. She has taught children of various ages from under fives to early teens in Sunday School and is actively involved in her local church. Sally Ann is married with four sons.

Illustrator - Paola Bertonlini Grudina

From The Church Times - September 2008

Wright and Grudina, who have hit on a winning formula, roll out two more books based on their original hits Who Built the Ark? and What Did the Princess Find?'. The books deliver punchy and upbeat shortened versions of well-loved Bible stories, phrased as questions a child might ask. A particularly nice illustrative touch is the inclusion of several animals in each picture. The series could certainly run and run.
